Baby Bonus
Baby Bonus is paid to families following the birth (including stillborn babies) or adoption of a baby. It recognises the extra costs incurred at the time of a new birth or adoption of a baby.You should note that changes to the Baby Bonus came into effect on 1 January 2009. A description of these changes can be found here. Depending on when your child was born or entered your care, different rules may apply.
