The key objective of the agreement is to support the achievement of the Australian Government's social policy outcomes through the successful delivery of services provided by Centrelink on behalf of the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA).

FaHCSIA and Centrelink are committed to the continued mutual development of the partnership and the improvements in policy and service delivery that should flow to the Government and Australian community from this.

The Strategic Statement is a high level document that details the purpose and business requirements of the agreement. The statement is signed by the Secretary of FaHCSIA and the CEO of Centrelink.
