User Guide
This year's annual report of the Department of Family and Community Services (FaCS) has been divided into two volumes for ease of access and readability.
This User Guide tells you about the features of the online report and the contents.
The links below will enable you to navigate within this page.
Volume one provides an overarching view of the department's functions and summary of its achievements.
Volume two provides more detail, covering performance reporting, management and accountability, appendixes and financial statements.
Each volume has its own contents page, glossary and index. A CD-ROM of the full report is enclosed in Volume one.
Our essential aim is for the report to meet the needs of our readers—Senators, Members and the public.

Green navigation bar on the left of the screen
To the left of your screen is the green navigation bar–this enables you to access the pages listed in the navigation bar from any page within the report.

At the top of each page, beside the heading ‘Annual Report 2002—03’, are shortcuts to help you navigate to other sections of the report:
