Extra Support for Children with Disability Program Outside School Hours Care
Successful organisations
The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs recently held an Expression of Interest to fund organisations to provide outside school hours and vacation care for children with disability aged 12-18 years under the Extra Support for Children with Disability Program.The Department received an overwhelming response to the Expression of Interest across Australia, highlighting the unmet need for outside school hours and vacation care for children with disability aged 12-18 years.
Thirty-two organisations were successful in receiving funding to operate outside school hours and/or vacation care programs at 36 locations across Australia.
