Video tapes of the mother and infant interacting are used to encourage an exploration of the relationship between the mother and infant.

Using a mixed program model, the service delivers parenting group programs including daytime, evening and weekend groups, and groups in non-traditional settings. Childcare is provided for all parenting groups. Groups will be planned using demographic data and the emphasis will be on promoting family strengths. The project supports families living in outlying or isolated areas in the Blue Mountains local government areas and family members affected by isolation.
