This paper reports the results from an analysis of how income support recipients interact with the labour market. It explores the take-up of part-time employment options by income support recipients and develops a statistical model of the factors influencing employment take-up.
Data used in the analysis was obtained from the department's Longitudinal (administrative) Data Set (LDS).
