Alcohol and pornography-related declarations

1. The alcohol offences under the Northern Territory National Emergency Response 2007 no longer apply to the following camping grounds in National Parks from 10 October 2007:
   • Kakadu National Park: Garnamarr, Gunlom, Mardugal, Merl and Muirella Campgrounds
   • Nitmiluk National Park: Leliyn Campground


2. From 3 October 2007, if you are engaged in recreational activities with an organised tour operator on Endyalgout Island, you have access to the tourism/national parks defence under the Northern Territory National Emergency Response Act 2007.



3. The following town camps have been declared prescribed areas under the Northern Territory National Emergency Response 2007:
   • Namatjira
   • Irrkerlantye (White Gate)
