AppointWomen

The Australian Government is committed to developing women’s participation in decision-making and leadership roles in Australia.  AppointWomen is one of the strategies for achieving this.

AppointWomen:

• is a free and confidential on-line registration and search service managed by the Australian Government Office for Women, within the Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs
• allows women to register their interest to be considered for appointment to Australian Government boards and bodies
• provides Australian Government departments with a source of women who are keen and able to make a difference in government decision-making processes
